Itxy Quintanilla is an audio journalist and senior podcast producer based in Los Angeles, CA. She is currently a freelance producer at Higher Ground, the Obama's production company.

Most recently, she was the Senior Producer for Hello Sunshine’s daily podcast The Bright Side.

Prior to that role, Itxy was a daily news producer at Crooked Media, where she produced the podcast What A Day. She was also a producer on the Spotify exclusive podcast ARCHETYPES hosted by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, which won the People's Choice Award for pop podcast of 2022.

Itxy worked at NPR member station KPCC for several years, and began her career in audio journalism as an intern at NPR in Washington D.C. and KCRW in Santa Barbara. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in art.

She enjoys telling nuanced and thoughtful stories through audio and writing.
